This Privacy Policy explains how ACtion ipTV ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it on a Samsung Smart TV. ACtion ipTV is a media player that connects to an IPTV provider you supply; it does not provide any TV channels or content of its own.

1. Information the App handles
ACtion ipTV stores the following locally on your television (using the TV's app storage) so the App can work and remember your preferences:
- Provider connection details you enter — for example your Xtream Codes server URL, username and password, or your Stalker / MAG portal URL and MAC address.
- Preferences — such as language, player and layout settings, and user agent.
- Viewing data — favorites, watch history, watch progress and the episodes you've watched.
- Profiles — any local viewing profiles you create.
This information is kept on the device and is not transmitted to us.
To verify your subscription, the App uses a device identifier (DUID) provided by the TV. This ties your subscription to the device through Samsung's purchase system. The App does not require you to create an account with us, and we do not ask for your name, email or payment card details.
2. How information is used
- To connect to the IPTV provider you configure and play the content it serves.
- To remember your settings, favorites, history and progress between sessions.
- To verify, through Samsung, whether you have an active subscription or free trial.
3. Third parties
ACtion ipTV interacts with the following third parties, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy:
- Your IPTV provider. The connection details you enter are sent to the server you specify in order to authenticate and stream content. We do not control that provider and are not responsible for how it handles your data. Please review your provider's own policies.
- Samsung. Purchases, the 7-day free trial, renewals, cancellations and subscription status are handled by Samsung Checkout and related Samsung services. The App receives only what is necessary to confirm your entitlement (such as your device identifier and purchase status). Samsung's handling of your data is governed by Samsung's privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and the App does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
4. Storage & retention
Because your settings and viewing data are stored on your TV, they remain there until you delete them. You can clear them at any time from the App's Settings → Data & Cache → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the App. Note that uninstalling does not cancel a subscription — manage that through your Samsung account.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information the App handles. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and the security of data sent to your IPTV provider also depends on that provider and your network.
6. Children
ACtion ipTV is not directed to children and is intended for use by adults who hold their own IPTV subscription. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
