Getting started
ACtion ipTV is a player — connect it to the IPTV provider you already use:
- Install ACtion ipTV from the Samsung TV app store.
- Choose your portal type on the login screen — Xtream Codes or Stalker Portal.
- Xtream Codes: enter your server URL (including the port), username and password.
- Stalker / MAG: enter the portal URL (include the path, e.g.
http://server:port/c/or/stalker_portal/) and a MAC address. You can tap Detect to read your TV's MAC, or type the MAC your provider registered. - Connect — your channels, movies and series will load.
Frequently asked questions
Does ACtion ipTV come with channels?
No. It's a player only. You bring your own IPTV provider (Xtream Codes or Stalker / MAG). ACtion ipTV does not include, sell or stream any content of its own.
Which providers are compatible?
Any provider that offers the Xtream Codes API, or a Stalker / MAG portal. If your provider supports either, ACtion ipTV should be able to connect.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Your ACtion ipTV Premium subscription is handled by Samsung Checkout. Manage or cancel it from the subscription settings in your Samsung account. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
What's the difference between the free trial and Premium?
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial with all features unlocked. After the trial it renews automatically at $4.99/month (local pricing may vary) unless cancelled.
Troubleshooting
"Can't connect" or no channels load
- Double-check the server/portal URL, including
http://vshttps://and the port number. - For Stalker portals, make sure the URL includes the portal path (e.g.
/c/or/stalker_portal/) and that the MAC is the one your provider authorized. - Confirm your provider subscription is active and not expired, and that you haven't exceeded its connection limit.
- Verify the TV has a working internet connection (try another app or a web page).
"Detect" doesn't fill the MAC address
- Many Stalker providers register a specific MAG-style MAC (often starting
00:1A:79:…) rather than your TV's hardware MAC. If so, type the MAC your provider gave you instead of using Detect. - If auto-detect fails on your network, enter the MAC manually — the field accepts colon, dash or plain-hex formats.
Black screen after switching apps
- When you leave the App mid-playback and return, ACtion ipTV exits full-screen and shows the menu. Simply reopen the channel, movie or episode to resume.
Buffering or playback stutters
- Buffering is usually network- or provider-related. Try a wired connection or move closer to your router.
- In Settings, try switching the player engine (AVPlay vs HTML5) or toggling hardware decode for the content type.
Playback won't start on a specific stream
- Some streams use codecs or formats a given engine can't handle. Switch the player for that content type in Settings and try again.
